In our experience this requires four distinct steps to ensure the line manager, employee and HR department requirements are correctly aligned when undertaking job evaluation. The steps are:
  • Confirm the employee's current position description is correct
  • Compare the approved position description against the classification criteria
  • Identify any other issues that may impact on the final classification and individual remuneration package
  • Create a recommendation report containing all of the above information
